A good coverage of rain can be expected tonight into Friday as a rather strong upper level disturbance moves in from the west. Some of the rains Friday will be locally heavy with the potential for 1-2 inches of rain in some spots. Drier and cooler air will take over Friday night into Sunday.
Flash Flood Watch continues in much of Southeast Texas
SOUTHEAST TEXAS - A Flash Flood Watch continues for much of Southeast Texas, including Jefferson, Hardin, Orange, Jasper, Tyler and Newton County.
It remains in effect until 1 a.m. Thursday for those counties.
Liberty, Chambers and Polk County remain under a Flash Flood Watch until 8 p.m. Wednesday.
