One contract worker had minor injuries, a cut to the finger, and another contractor had debris fall on him and he was checked out by EMS, Pennison said.

KFDM News learned that in total, 11 businesses had to close. There were no other injuries and it is still under investigation.

Pennison said he thinks it happens because they were doing some remodeling and the structure became weak and the wind may have played a contributing factor.
