Mother's death remains unsolved, four years later

JEFFERSON COUNTY - By Justin Hinton, KFDM News

A family is remembering their mother, Allison Neil Clark, after she was shot and killed four years ago.

Cops don't even know who did it yet, said 7-year-old Cadence Clark. They've searched for four years.

At the time of the shooting, Cadence was 3 years old and was in the backseat of her mothers excursion.

Police say someone fired a shot through the drivers side window of Clarks Ford Excursion. It struck Clark in the chest. They say she was able to stop the vehicle before she died. Cadence was not hurt.

Cadences young sister MaKayla was one and at home with her father.

It's another full year and you think back about how little Mikayla was when it happened, Josh Clark, said.

His family is still searching for answers as to who could have done this, but at the same time, he says they are moving forward.

If you start marking it to where oh, it's another year, its three years, its four years, its five years and it starts to being whoever did this won,  and they're getting the best of it. It's just another day, he said.
