Deputies search for fugitive accused of stabbing
JEFFERSON COUNTY - The Jefferson County Sheriff's Office is searching for a man described as a dangerous fugitive accused of leaping inside a man's car and stabbing him.

According to Deputy Rod Carroll, the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office Fugitive Warrant Division is asking for the public's help in finding a wanted dangerous fugitive, Davin Lee Barry, wanted for Aggravated Robbery.
Barry, 27, is 5'8", 195 lbs, black, with several tattoos:

Investigators say on October 21, 2013, at about 11:35 p.m., Barry approached a man who was sitting in his vehicle in the 1100 Block of Euclid Street in Beaumont. He asked the driver if he had any loose change or a light. The driver answered "no" to both questions. Barry then leaped in the open passenger window with a large knife, causing the driver to drive away with Barry hanging out of the vehicle. Barry stabbed the victim in the right leg and shoulder before the driver came to a stop and ran away from the vehicle. Barry left the scene and stole the vehicle.
Investigators say Barry has a long criminal history with violent tendencies. No one should attempt to detain Barry because he should be considered armed and dangerous.
Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (409) 833-TIPS. Crime Stoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information leading to the arrest of this wanted felon or any wanted felon
