A dry weather pattern will continue for the next few days with below normal temperatures. In fact, scattered frost can be expected Sunday morning over the Lakes Area. Port Neches drowning victim identified
UPDATE: KFDM News has learned that the drowning victim in Port Neches was identified as 88-year-old Billy Roles.
KFDM News learned that the Port Neches Fire Department responded to the first drowning this year in Port Neches a little after 11:30 a.m. Friday.
They received a call about a person in a pool in the 3100 block of Gale Wood Lane in Port Neches.
When they arrived at the scene they found the home's resident, an 88-year-old man, who was in the pool.
They assisted with CPR but were unsuccessful and the man was pronounced dead at the scene by JP Brad Burnett.
