Anayat House held ribbon cutting to open new house

BEAUMONT - The Anayat House, along with the Beaumont Chamber of Commerce, held a ribbon cutting to open the new house on north 14th Street.

The Anayat House raised several hundred thousand dollars for the project, which allows the organization to continue its mission to help people in need.

The Anayat House provides overnight accommodations at low cost to family members of patients at Beaumont hospitals.

It's designed to help family members of patients in intensive care, parents with newborns in the neonatal intensive care and patients receiving outpatient care.

The new home will provide a safer and more comfortable atmosphere.

The Anayat house was founded in 1994. It's a short walk from Christus Hospital Saint Elizabeth and a few minutes away from Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
