Community mourns longtime businessman Sheldon Greenberg

BEAUMONT - The community is mourning the loss of a longtime Beaumont businessman.

Sheldon Greenberg was the husband of local icon Betty Greenberg.
Sheldon was known for his extreme generosity and kindness.

Greenberg worked in the family business -- the Fair Store -- and was the longest serving director of the American National Bank.

A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 7 p.m. Saturday, June 7, at Broussard's on McFaddin in Beaumont.

His funeral service will be at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, June 8, at Temple Emanuel, at 1120 Broadway St., Beaumont. The burial will follow and is at Hebrew Rest Cemetery.
