ATF: Law enforcement assisting with federal search warrant
JASPER COUNTY - Sources tell KFDM News that federal and local law enforcement officers armed with a federal search warrant are digging in an area near a water well close to Buna in an attempt to find Joshua Parrott, a 22-year-old man who was last seen outside a Vidor convenience store in 2010.

A person who lives near the search site told KFDM News that law enforcement officers arrived around 7 a.m. Tuesday in the 300 block of County Road 786 near Buna.
The officers were seen unloading a track hoe, chainsaws, and gas cans, according to neighbors.
Officials moved that equipment into a wooded area behind a house.
ATF spokesperson Nicole Strong confirmed that they are assisting the FBI with a federal search warrant.
Parrott was last seen outside a Vidor convenience store in May of 2010. In January of 2013, officers drained a pond in Jasper County in their search for Parrott. Investigators have searched several other locations for his body.
Authorities say Parrott's disappearance could be tied to white supremacist groups, according to past reports by KFDM News.
