Red, white and blue in abundance at annual Calder Place July 4 parade
BEAUMONT - A large crowd turned out with red, white and blue in abundance on a cloudy but rain-free July 4 morning for the annual Calder Place holiday parade in Beaumont.

The 1929 Calder Place Neighborhood parade includes children, pets, bicycles and wagons decorated in holiday red, white and blue.
The parade began at 9 a.m. in the BISD administration building parking lot on Harrison. It proceeded onto North Street, down 22nd, back onto Harrison and ended at BISD.
Refreshments were offered and organizers awarded prizes to the best-decorated.
