Four men indicted in connection with Burkeville bank robbery where bank employee stabbed

BURKEVILLE - Four men are facing the possibility of years in federal prison following their indictments in connection with a violent bank robbery in Newton County.

A federal grand jury indicted the following men: 24-year-old Keith Collins, Jr., of Jasper;  20-year-old Michael Byerly of Newton; 21-year-old Xavier Clark of Jasper and 20-year-old Khadijah Joy De'Inn Adams of Bon Wier.

They're accused of robbing Sabine State Bank on Highway 63 in Burkeville on June 25. 

The bank manager was stabbed several times and survived. She suffered a punctured lung.

Byerly and Clark have also been arrested in connection with a March home invasion, armed robbery and shooting in Jasper County.
